Lynnette Noblitt, director of Paralegal Programs, and associate professor of Government and Nursing professor Beverly Hart, both EKU Quality Enhancement "Coaches" were invited to present at the 29th International Conference on Critical Thinking, held July 20-23 in Berkeley, California, hosted by the Center and Foundation for Critical Thinking founded by Richard Paul and Linda Elder. Their presentations outlined how EKU is using the Paul/Elder model of critical thinking to promote its Quality Enhancement Plan and how each are integrating the model into their disciplines.
The Center and Foundation for Critical Thinking have together hosted critical thinking academies and conferences for more than a quarter century. The annual conference provides an opportunity for participants to improve their understanding of critical thinking, as well as the ability to more substantively foster it in the classroom and in all aspects of work and life.
